Republic of Doyle

Meet Jake Doyle. His town, his rules.

Murderers, drug dealers, rumrunners, super hackers, fugitives, missing racehorses, grifters, hostage situations, runaway brides, prison breaks and frame ups… it’s all in a day’s work for Canada’s favourite family of P.I.’s.

Private Detective Jake Doyle (Allan Hawco) along with his ex-cop father Malachy (Sean McGinley), tech head Des Courtney (Mark O’Brien) and savvy Rose Doyle (Lynda Boyd) endure the ups and downs of family life while solving killer cases from some very uncommon clients in the stunning port city of St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Each week, Doyle & Doyle Investigations, with help from stellar cops Leslie Bennett (Krystin Pellerin) and Tinny Doyle (Marthe Bernard), solve the twisty mysteries that land on their doorstep. Woven with the always evolving (and sometimes de-volving) relationship turmoil and dynamics of the Doyle clan, this one-of-a-kind detective show hits you with all the laughs, fistfights, car chases, lager and family skirmishes that you can handle in a one hour dramedy… meaning there’s a few good smacks in the face, GTO getaways and the odd pint (or bottle of whiskey) along the way.
